Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-18
UARTSIFARTSI ("the site") is a public, community-named enumeration of small black-and-white pixel images. This policy explains what we collect and what you can do about it. Plain language first, legalese only where it has to be.
What we collect
- Account email. If you sign in, we store the email address you use so we can send magic-link sign-in messages and associate your names and favorites with you.
- Content you submit. Names you attach to images, favorites you save, browse-state preferences (grid size, k, filter, jump divisor).
- Moderation reports you file, so we can act on them.
- Request metadata for abuse prevention. Short-lived IP-derived counters used for rate-limiting anonymous discovery calls. We do not build a browsing history from these counters and they age out automatically.
- Error diagnostics. Uncaught errors may be reported to our hosting provider to keep the site working. We do not attach your email or IP to these reports.
What we do not collect
- No advertising trackers or ad-network cookies.
- No third-party analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, etc.).
- No cross-site profiling or fingerprinting.
- No payment information — donations to UNICEF happen entirely on UNICEF's own site.
How we use it
- To let you sign in and to attribute your submissions to you.
- To display community-submitted names publicly on each image.
- To honor moderation reports and remove disallowed content.
- To prevent abuse of unauthenticated endpoints.
What is public
Names you submit are shown publicly on the image they name. Your email address, your favorites, and your browse-state are never shown to other visitors.
Retention
- Account data: kept until you delete your account.
- Submitted names and moderation reports: kept indefinitely as part of the site's public record, unless removed by moderation or by your deletion request.
- Rate-limit counters: automatically deleted on a short rolling schedule.
Third parties
- Hosting & database — Lovable Cloud provides authentication, database, storage, and edge runtime. Data lives on their infrastructure.
- Email delivery — Sign-in and notification emails are sent by our email provider on our behalf.
- Donations — The UNICEF donation button links out to UNICEF. We do not receive donation details.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with equivalent rules (including California under CCPA), you can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Export the data associated with your account.
- Object to processing and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, sign in and use the export / delete affordances on your account page, or contact us through the channels on the about page. We respond within 30 days.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
